Mascarpone Culture

Developed by the folks at New England Cheesemaking Supply, this culture also goes by the name "Fromagina."  It makes a wonderfully sweet, creamy spread that can be used in cooking, as a dip, or any way you might use a thick yogurt.

Each pack contains 5 separate sachets.  Each sachet will set approximately 1 gallon of milk and yields about 2 pounds of cheese.

Culture Contains: malto dextrin, lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris, lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis, lactococcus lactis subsp. biovar diacetylactis, microbial coagulant enzyme ("vegetarian" rennet)
